Since we have been made right in God's sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
Romans 5:1 (New Living Translation)

That Incredible Christian

By A. W. Tozer

The Christian believes that in Christ he or she has died, yet is more alive than before and fully expects to live forever. A Christian looses his life to save it and is in danger of loosing it if he attempts to preserve it. He goes down to get up. If he refuses to go down he is already down, but when he starts down, he is on his way up.

The Christian has most after he has given most away and has least when he possesses most. Though poor he has the power to make others rich, but when he becomes rich the ability to make others rich vanishes.

The Christian is wisest when he knows that he knows not and knows least when he has acquired the greatest amount of knowledge. The Christian sometimes does most by doing nothing and goes furthest when standing still.

The Christian believes that he is saved now, nevertheless he expects to be saved later and looks forward joyfully to future salvation. The Christian fears God but is not afraid of God. In God's presence the Christian feels overwhelmed and undone, yet there is nowhere he or she would rather be than in that presence.
